Braves 13, Rockies 9: Chipper Jones tied his career high with five RBIs as visiting Atlanta rallied from six runs down to win a rain-delayed Game 2 of a three-game set with Colorado.

Jones, who finished 3-for-6, recorded identical two-run singles with the bases loaded in the sixth and seventh, part of a nine-run explosion by the Braves over those two innings after trailing 8-3 after five.

Back-to-back solo home runs from Matt Diaz and Jason Heyward to lead off the sixth got the ball rolling for Atlanta.

A night after edging the Rockies 9-8, six different players recorded RBIs for the Braves - including Freddie Freeman, who drove in two runs.

Braves starter Mike Minor lasted five innings, giving up eight runs on 10 hits while walking four and striking out four. Livan Hernandez picked up his first save in 485 career games while Cristhian Martinez (2-0) earned the win.

Colorado jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings, getting four of those runs on Michael Cuddyer’s sixth career grand slam in the opening frame.

Wilin Rosario hit a two-run blast in the fifth and a solo shot in the seventh for his first career multi-homer game.

Carlos Gonzalez finished 4-for-4 with two RBIs for the Rockies, who fell to 3-5 on their nine-game homestand.

Rockies starter Jamie Moyer pitched five innings, allowing five earned runs on 10 hits. Reliever Esmil Rogers (0-2) was beat up for five runs on three hits in just 1 1/3 innings.
