White Sox 9, Blue Jays 5
: Adam Dunn belted a go-ahead three-run homer as part of a five-run seventh inning as visiting Chicago outslugged Toronto.

Dewayne Wise equaled a career high with four RBIs and Gavin Floyd (9-9) worked six strong innings for his second straight win as Chicago maintained its two-game lead over Detroit atop the AL Central. The Tigers defeated Minnesota 5-1 earlier Wednesday.

The White Sox did most of their damage against Toronto lefty Ricky Romero (8-10), who allowed six runs over six-plus innings to suffer his ninth consecutive loss.

After Toronto had rallied from 4-0 down to even things in the sixth, Dunn responded in style the next half-inning. The towering first baseman belted a Brad Lincoln pitch into the second deck in right field for a three-run homer, his major league-leading 34th.

Four batters later, Dayan Viciedo smashed a two-run shot to right, his 18th of the campaign.

Wise provided all of the Chicago offense in the early going, hitting a two-run single in the second inning and a two-run shot just shy of the second deck in the fourth.

Toronto scored once in the fifth before Kelly Johnson drew the Blue Jays even in the sixth, hammering a Floyd cutter over the right-field fence for his 16th home run of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: White Sox C A.J. Pierzynski's second-inning single extended his hitting streak to 16 games. ... White Sox 2B Orlando Hudson had to be helped off the field after fouling a ball off his left foot in the top of the sixth inning. Gordon Beckham took his place with a 2-2 count and promptly struck out looking. ... Romero hasn't won June 22 against Miami, and hasn't beaten an American League foe since defeating the White Sox back on June 5.
