Orioles 5, Blue Jays 2:
Adam Jones and Chris Davis broke open a tie game with home runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, and the Orioles completed a three-game sweep of the Blue Jays.

After Jones broke a 2-2 tied with his leadoff homer off Casey Janssen (1-1), Matt Wieters singled and scored on Davis’ third home run off Darren Oliver.

Darren O'Day (2-0) earned the win with two scoreless innings in relief, and Luis Ayala worked around two baserunners in the ninth inning for his first save since 2008.

Toronto managed just five hits against the Orioles, who won their fourth straight and have won 12 of their first 19 games for the first time since 2005.

The Blue Jays took a 2-1 lead when Eric Thames drove in two runs with a triple in the fifth inning, and the Orioles tied the game in the sixth inning on Jones’ run-scoring single.

Neither starter figured in the decision, with the Orioles’ Brian Matusz giving up two runs on five hits over six innings. The Blue Jays’ Drew Hutchison gave up two runs over five innings in his second career start.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Orioles’ Ryan Flaherty reached on a bunt single in the seventh inning for his first major league hit … Nolan Reimold went 1-for-5 for Baltimore after missing four straight games because of neck spasms…Five of Jones’ six home runs have tied the game or given the Orioles the lead…Toronto starter Dustin McGowan has been shut down for two weeks after experiencing soreness in his right shoulder.
