Orioles 3, White Sox 2: Nolan Reimold and J.J. Hardy hit back-to-back home runs, helping Baltimore to its second road win over Chicago in as many nights.

Baltimore starter Wei-Yin Chen and Chicago’s John Danks were engaged in a scoreless duel through five innings, but the Orioles grabbed the upper hand in the sixth when Reimold hit a two-run homer with one out. Hardy followed with a solo shot to make it 3-0.

A.J. Pierzynski got the White Sox on the board in the bottom of the inning with a two-run double.

Chen (1-0) worked 5 1/3 innings in his first major-league win, allowing two runs on six hits, walking two and striking out four. Darren O’Day, Troy Patton and Luis Ayala held Chicago in check, setting the table for Jim Johnson to pick up his fifth save. Two walks and an error allowed the White Sox to load the bases in the ninth inning, but Brent Morel grounded out to end the game.

Danks (1-2) gave up three runs on five hits in his seven innings, striking out five and walking two.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Orioles lead the majors with 20 home runs ... Reimold became the third Baltimore player with four home runs, joining Adam Jones and Matt Wieters ... The White Sox have lost nine of their last 13 home games against the Orioles.
