Rookie Josh Harrison ignited a seven-run uprising in the seventh inning with an RBI double as the Pittsburgh Pirates ended a 13-game losing skid to the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday with a 9-2 home triumph in the nightcap of a doubleheader.

Ryan Doumit blasted a solo homer and Jose Tabata ripped an RBI double for Pittsburgh, which bounced back from an 8-1 loss in the opener to win for the seventh time in 27 games.

With the game tied at 2-2, Harrison doubled to shallow left field to collect his first RBI since July 8. After Matt Diaz scored on a wild pitch, Tabata plated Harrison with an RBI double and Xavier Paul and Doumit added run-scoring singles to put the game out of reach.

Daniel McCutchen (4-3) tossed one scoreless inning of relief to secure the victory.

Zack Greinke (12-5) saw his five-game winning streak come to an end after permitting seven runs on as many hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Corey Hart belted a solo homer for National League Central-leading Milwaukee, which suffered just its fourth loss in 27 games.
