Cameron Maybin's three-run double keyed an eight-run eighth inning as San Diego came back after blowing an early lead for a wild 13-6 win in Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon.

Yuniesky Betancourt hit a solo homer in the sixth inning to complete the Brewers' comeback from an early 5-0 deficit, but the Padres reclaimed the lead when they sent 12 batters to the plate in the eighth. After Jason Bartlett tied it at 6-6 with an RBI single, Maybin hit his bases-loaded double to left field and Ryan Ludwick followed with a two-run homer. Bartlett singled home another run to cap the onslaught.

Chris Denorfia led off the game with a home run for the Padres, who scored three runs in the first inning and two more in the second against Milwaukee starter Randy Wolf. The Brewers scored two runs in the fourth inning and tied the game at 5-5 in the fifth when Prince Fielder hit a two-run homer off Tim Stauffer.

Chad Qualls (2-2) got the win for the Padres after pitching out of a bases-loaded jam in the sixth and adding a scoreless seventh. Kameron Loe (2-4) took the loss after giving up four runs while retiring only one batter in the eighth.

Maybin and Bartlett each finished with four of San Diego's 23 hits.
