Wandy Rodriguez threw six scoreless innings and the visiting Houston Astros used a five-run fifth inning to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-0 on Saturday.

One game after Brett Myers threw the Astros’ first complete game of the season, Rodriguez (5-3) allowed seven hits and struck out six.

After cruising through the first four innings with 40 pitches, Dodgers starter Rubby De La Rosa (3-1) threw 45 pitches in the fifth before he was replaced by Mike MacDougal.

De La Rosa gave up five runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings for the Dodgers, who lost their fifth straight and dropped a season-high 10 games below .500.

With two outs in the fifth, De La Rosa walked in a run before allowing back-to-back run-scoring singles.

The Dodgers, who fell to 3-32 when trailing after six innings, were shut out for the seventh time this season and dropped to 0-5 on their season-long 12-game homestand.

Astros outfielder Hunter Pence was scratched from Saturday’s lineup with a hyperextended elbow and will return to Houston for an MRI on Sunday.

The Dodgers finished with 10 hits. The last time they were shut out at home with 10 or more hits in a nine-inning game was Sept. 29, 1971, by the Astros' Ken Forsch.
