David Wright hit the go-ahead home run and Jason Bay and Fernando Martinez also homered in the late innings as the New York Mets rallied for a 6-4 victory over the Houston Astros on Friday.

Wright’s two-run shot off Jeff Fulchino (0-1) put New York ahead 5-4 and capped a four-run eighth-inning. Martinez had a pinch-hit two-run blast off Bud Norris earlier in the inning.

Jason Pridie added an RBI double in the ninth as the Mets won their third straight game.

Francisco Rodriguez got the final four outs, retiring Carlos Lee on a grounder with a man on third to end the game.

Pat Misch (1-0) pitched 1 2/3 innings of hitless ball for New York.

The Astros led 4-0 and Norris was sailing along before allowing Bay’s two-out homer in the seventh.

Norris was pulled after walking Jose Reyes, and one out later Wright hit the decisive homer to left field off Fulchino to hand Houston its fifth loss in six games.

The Astros scored in the third on Lee’s sacrifice fly and added three runs in the sixth, with Chris Johnson’s run-scoring double and Billy Hall’s RBI single being the key hits off Mets starter Dillon Gee.

Norris struck out eight in 7 1/3 innings. He gave up three runs and five hits. Gee allowed four runs and five hits in five innings.
