Omar Infante's RBI single capped a two-run ninth inning rally as the host Florida Marlins defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-4 on Monday.

The Dodgers were one out away from their seventh win in nine games, but things fell apart for closer Jonathan Broxton (1-1). With two outs, he walked Emilio Bonifacio and allowed a single to pinch-hitter Hanley Ramirez to put runners at the corners.

Broxton induced what appeared to be a game-ending grounder by Scott Cousins, but shortstop Jamey Carroll's error allowed the tying run to score. Infante followed with a rising line drive which was misplayed by left fielder Jerry Sands and sailed over his head.

Chris Coghlan hit two home runs for Florida, which has won six of seven.

Andre Ethier extended his hitting streak to 22 games with a single in the first inning. The streak is the longest by a Dodgers player since Nomar Garciaparra hit safely in 22 straight in 2006.

Sands went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Carroll was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Brian Sanches (3-0) earned the win with a perfect inning of relief.
