Jair Jurrjens retired the first 17 batters and Martin Prado and Nate McLouth led off the first inning with homers as the Atlanta Braves posted a 5-3 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday afternoon.

Prado added a two-run single in the sixth to his sixth homer and improved his batting average to .295. He has multiple hits in five straight games. David Ross got a run home with an unexpected squeeze bunt in the sixth.

Jurrjens (5-0) wound up allowing three runs - two earned - and three hits in 7 1/3 innings with a walk and six strikeouts. Craig Kimbrel struck out two batters in the ninth inning and earned his ninth save.

The loss went to Joe Blanton (1-2), who gave up five hits and two runs in five innings and struck out five.

Philadelphia broke the shutout bid on an RBI double by Jimmy Rollins in the sixth inning. The Phillies got a pair in the eighth on a double by Wilson Valdez and a fielder's choice by John Mayberry Jr.
