Mark Reynolds drove in the go-ahead run with a two-out single in the 11th inning as the Baltimore Orioles snapped the New York Yankees' six-game winning streak with a 5-4 victory Wednesday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

Nolan Reimold hit a two-run homer - his first in 14 games - to help the Orioles halt a four-game losing skid and improve to 4-13 against the Yankees this season.

The Yankees, though, maintained their 2 1/2-game lead in the American League East over Boston, which lost 11-10 at Toronto on Wednesday.

Jim Johnson earned his third save and beat New York for the first time in five career decisions by pitching a scoreless 11th.

Pedro Strop (1-0) worked 1 1/3 innings in relief to notch his first major league victory in 36 career appearances.

Shortstop Eduardo Nunez's one-out error on Matt Angle's grounder in the 11th led to the winning run.

Yankees starter A.J. Burnett set a major league record by throwing three wild pitches in a game for the eighth time in his career. He is 3-12 in 25 decisions in August and September since joining the Yankees prior to the 2009 season.

Alex Rodriguez had a two-run double for his first multi-RBI game since June 25 while recent call-up Jesus Montero added a two-run single to give him five RBIs in his first 17 major league at-bats for New York.
