B.J. Upton drove in four runs and Evan Longoria added an RBI as the visiting Tampa Bay Rays completed a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles with a 5-3 victory on Sunday.
Matt Joyce double twice and scored two runs for the Rays, who have won four in a row to move into first place in the American League East.
Tampa Bay got to Brad Bergesen (0-4) in the fourth, pushing a run across on Longoria’s single and grabbing two more when Upton followed Joyce’s double with a two-run single up the middle.
Upton did the same thing in the fifth, this time pushing Joyce and Ben Zobrist across with a single back through the box.
Wade Davis (4-2) got the start for the Rays and lasted five innings, surrendering three runs and four hits while walking five to pick up the win.
Rob Delany pitched a scoreless inning and Joel Peralta went 1 2/3 before handing it off to Kyle Farnsworth for the four-out save - his seventh.
Derrek Lee hit his fourth homer and Matt Wieters doubled in a pair of runs for Baltimore.
