Cody Ross homered and later singled in the tiebreaking run to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 3-2 victory over the host Atlanta Braves in Game 4 on Monday night to wrap up the National League Division Series.

Ross’ single with the bases loaded in the seventh inning plated Buster Posey with the decisive run as the Giants won the series, 3-1.

San Francisco will meet the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Championship Series, which begins on Saturday in Philadelphia.

Giants closer Brian Wilson issued back-to-back walks to Rick Ankiel and Eric Hinske in the ninth before striking out Omar Infante and getting Melky Cabrera to ground out for his second save of the series.

Ross hit a one-out homer in the sixth inning to tie the score. Atlanta went up 2-1 in the bottom of the inning when Brian McCann hit a leadoff homer.

San Francisco tied the game in the seventh when Juan Uribe reached on an error with the bases loaded. A throw by Braves shortstop Alex Gonzalez pulled second baseman Infante off the bag as Aubrey Huff scored from third base.

McCann also drove in Atlanta’s first run with a third-inning sacrifice fly.

Madison Bumgarner (1-0) picked up the win, allowing two runs and six hits in six innings.

Braves starter Derek Lowe (0-2) lost despite giving up just two hits in 6 1/3 innings. Lowe allowed three runs – two earned – and struck out eight.
