Nelson Figueroa threw six shutout innings and Tommy Manzella went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs as the Houston Astros dropped the Chicago Cubs 4-0 on Sunday.

Houston got RBI singles from Manzella and Figueroa in the second inning to break the ice. Carlos Lee hit his 24th home run of the season in the fourth inning before Manzella added another RBI single in the fifth.

Figueroa (7-4) allowed six hits and only one extra-base hit while striking out eight and walking two to earn the win. The Astros sent three relievers to the mound after Figueroa left, holding the Cubs without a hit the rest of the way.

Ryan Dempster (15-12) took the loss, allowing three earned runs on nine hits over six innings. He struck out seven and walked one.

Darwin Barney, Xavier Nady and Alfonso Soriano accounted for all six Chicago hits with two apiece, but the Cubs went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position.
