Troy Glaus finished with three hits and drove in four runs and Jason Heyward homered for the third consecutive day, powering the Atlanta Braves to a 10-1 win against the struggling Houston Astros on Saturday.

Glaus entered the game hitting .194, but he had a two-run double in the third inning for a 2-1 lead and RBI singles in the fifth and sixth. Heyward's home run in the seventh, a solo shot, was his seventh of the season.

The Braves entered the series with the lowest team batting average in the National League and on a nine-game losing streak, but they've battered the Astros two days in a row, running Houston's losing streak to five games while pounding out 15 hits Saturday.

Atlanta starter Tim Hudson (2-1) pitched into the seventh, allowing only one run on five hits. Hudson hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his five starts this season coming back from Tommy John surgery.

Astros left-hander Wandy Rodriguez (1-3), who had his start pushed back a day because of back spasms, lasted five innings and gave up five runs - three earned - on 10 hits.
