Tommy Hanson threw seven scoreless innings, Eric Hinske homered and Troy Glaus drove in two runs, leading the Atlanta Braves to a 6-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday.
Hanson (7-3) was dominant, limiting the Rays to three runs and one walk while striking out six. He has won his last four decisions and the Braves have won the last six times he has taken the mound.
Glaus drove in two runs with a single in a three-run third, briefly taking over the National League lead with 51 RBIs.
Brian McCann had an RBI double in the third and Martin Prado went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Prado has 31 multi-hit games, including four in a row. Hinske hit his fifth homer of the season in the sixth inning, a solo shot off Dan Wheeler.
Rays starter Wade Davis (5-7) was tagged with the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits in five innings.
