Lane Thomas had three hits, four RBIs and finished a home run shy of hitting for the cycle, and Jacob Young and CJ Abrams also had three hits apiece for Washington. Every batter in the lineup reached base for the Nationals, who had a season-high 19 hits.

Dylan Floro (2-1) tossed an inning of relief to get the win. Washington's bullpen allowed just one hit after the fifth inning.

Ezequiel Tovar had three hits, including a homer, Nolan Jones also went deep, and Hunter Goodman hit a two-run shot for the Rockies.

Colorado starter Dakota Hudson (2-10) continued to struggle at home, falling to 0-5 in eight outings at Coors Field. He gave up eight runs on 11 hits in just three-plus innings.

His trouble started in the third, with most of the damage coming with two outs and the Nationals leading 1-0.

Eddie Rosario, who had two hits, rapped an RBI double, Joey Meneses walked and Garcia hit his sixth home run of the season to make it 5-0.

Tovar got a run back with a solo homer, his 12th blast of the season, in the bottom of the third, but Washington put up another crooked number in the fourth.

Millas led off with his first homer of the season, Young and Abrams singled and Thomas drove both of them in with a double. One out later, Thomas scored on a sacrifice fly.

The Rockies rallied in the bottom of the fourth. Jones hit a solo home run, his second of the season, Sean Bouchard reached on an error and Goodman homered to left to make it 9-4. It was his sixth of the season.

Nationals starter DJ Herz left after giving up two more singles and allowing four runs -- three earned -- on seven hits in 3 2/3 innings.

Colorado got another run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly but Thomas had an RBI triple in the sixth.
