Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Gabriel Moreno and Kevin Newman had two RBIs apiece to help the Arizona Diamondbacks notch an 8-5 victory over the slumping San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night at Phoenix.

Blaze Alexander had three hits, two runs and one RBI as Arizona stretched its winning streak to four games. Ketel Marte reached base four times on three hits and a walk for the Diamondbacks, who have won the first two contests of this three-game series.

Mike Yastrzemski hit a pinch-hit, three-run homer in the eighth inning for San Francisco, which extended its season-worst losing streak to six games.

In the ninth inning, Arizona's Paul Sewald hit Thairo Estrada with a pitch before striking out two of the next three hitters for his sixth save.

The Diamondbacks pushed across three runs in the third inning against San Francisco's Kyle Harrison (4-3) to grab the lead for good.

Jake McCarthy singled and Alexander doubled before Newman hit a liner off the glove of Giants third baseman Matt Chapman. The ball caromed into left field to score McCarthy and Alexander.

Marte followed with a single to put runners on the corners and Moreno's sacrifice fly to right scored Newman.

San Francisco got on the board in the fourth when Chapman hit a leadoff double, moved to third on Michael Conforto's groundout and scored on Jorge Soler's groundout.

The Diamondbacks made it 4-1 in the bottom of the inning on Alexander's two-out RBI single.

In the fifth, Arizona's Blake Walston hit Casey Schmitt to start the inning and was removed after walking Heliot Ramos with one out. Kevin Ginkel (4-1) struck out Estrada before allowing a run-scoring bloop single to Patrick Bailey.

The Diamondbacks used a four-run seventh off Luke Jackson to build their lead to six.

Moreno hit an RBI single with one out and Gurriel followed with a two-run double off the wall in left. After Christian Walker struck out, Randal Grichuk hit a single through the left side to make it 8-2.

Bryce Jarvis walked Wilmer Flores and Brett Wisely with two outs in the eighth before Yastrzemski came off the bench and hit a three-run homer to right. It was his sixth blast of the season.

Walston gave up two runs and two hits over 4 1/3 innings. He walked four and struck out two.

Harrison allowed four runs (three earned) and eight hits over six innings. He struck out five and walked none.
